Lucy Hale, who died in 2021, was a student at the Royal Northern College of Music, and went on to become the inaugural Young Composer-in-Association with BSO Resound, Young Composer-in-Residence with Orchestras for All and had just become a Royal Philharmonic Society composer, becoming the Rosie Johnson RPS / Wigmore Hall Apprentice Composer 2020-21.
