Chopin – Piano Concerto No.2 in F minor (1829)

Composed in late 1829 and premiered the following Spring just after Chopin’s 20th birthday. It was composed before Concerto No.1 in E minor, as the concerti were numbered in the order they were published.

The concerto is in the typical three-movement form:

  1. Maestoso
  2. Larghetto
  3. Allegro vivace
