21st Century Saturday: Frances-Hoad – They bore him barefaced on the bier (2 Shakespeare Songs, No 2) (2013)

Cheryl Frances-Hoad’s “Two Shakespeare Songs” (2014) are a set of vocal works for soprano and piano, featuring musical settings of texts from Hamlet and Twelfth Night. The two songs are “Tomorrow is Saint Valentine’s Day” and “They Bore Him Barefaced on the Bier”.
